Pedro Mendes from Switzerland won Mister International 2016 in the Philippines, competing against 36 candidates. He later crowned Paul Iskandar from Lebanon as his successor in Thailand. Iskandar previously played basketball for Champville and earned a degree in health and physical education from Notre Dame University during 2011-2015.
