Miss Eco Queen, initiated in 2015 by Dr. Amal Rezk in partnership with LTCP, became Miss Eco Universe in 2016. The first pageant crowned Patricia Peklar as Miss Eco Queen 2015. The second edition on April 14, 2016, features 54 contestants, aiming to promote environmental awareness through beauty pageantry.
