Grace Bahati, an 18-year-old student at Lycee de Kigali, won the Miss Rwanda pageant on December 19, 2009, becoming notable for her photogenic qualities. Born in Uganda and relocated to Rwanda in 1994, she represents the Southern Province, alongside runners-up Carine Utamuliza and Winnie Ngamije, in the pageant's third edition.
