Celia Monterrosa, born in San Jose de Colinas, Honduras, won the Miss Honduras Mundo 2017 title on August 19, 2017. She crowned her successor, Dayana Sabillón, on June 16, 2018. The pageant showcased 25 candidates and focused on representing Honduras at international contests like Miss World and Miss International.
