Maguindanao del Norte, part of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, held elections on May 12, 2025, for key positions, including congressman and governor. Dimple Mastura was elected congressman, while Datu Tucao Mastura became governor. The province has 12 municipalities and was officially established after dividing Maguindanao into two provinces in January 2023.
