Maguindanao del Sur, part of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in the Philippines, consists of 24 municipalities and serves as the home for its capital, Buluan. In the 2025 elections, Esmael Mangudadatu was elected congressman with 166,090 votes, while Ali Midtimbang became governor. The province was officially divided into two in 2023.
