Tamar Ziskind was crowned Malkat HaYofi 2008 in Haifa, Israel. She represented Israel at Miss World 2008 but did not place. In March 2009, Ziskind crowned Adi Rodnitzky as her successor. The Malkat HaYofi 2009 pageant featured 20 candidates and included performances by notable artists at the Haifa Convention Center.
