Ethiopia debuted in the Miss Earth pageant in 2001 but has yet to secure a placement. Founded by Lorraine Schuck, the pageant promotes environmental awareness and social responsibility. Over the years, 11 beauty queens have held the Miss Earth Ethiopia title, with the latest being Ruth Tewodros in 2024.
