Barbara Filipović, a Croatian model from Zagreb, won the Miss Universe Croatia 2016 title at 19. She represented Croatia at Miss Universe 2016, competing unsuccessfully with 85 other candidates. Mirta Laura Kuštan, a 22-year-old from Krapinske Toplice, represented Croatia at Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas, competing among 80 candidates.
