Ché Amor Greenidge, a 25-year-old advocate for the Deaf community from Bridgetown, Barbados, was crowned Miss World Barbados 2019. She will represent her country at Miss World 2019 in London. Greenidge previously competed in Miss Universe Barbados 2017 despite a broken foot, finishing in the Top 5. She holds a degree in political science.
Uganda’s Quiin Abenakyo makes history at Miss World 2018 in Sanya, China
Quiin Abenakyo, 22, made history as the first Miss Uganda to reach the Top 5 in Miss World 2018. Competing among 118 contestants in Sanya, China, she initially secured a position in the Top 30 through the Head-to-Head Challenge. Abenakyo was ultimately crowned Miss World Africa and ranked third overall.
