Stephan Leonard Smerk, 51, has been arrested for the 1994 murder of Robin Warr Lawrence in Springfield, Virginia. Smerk, an ex-U.S. Army member, was identified through DNA and a family tree study. He confessed to the crime and is awaiting extradition to Virginia. Robin was found fatally stabbed at home.
