Ray Hunt, an Alabama resident, operated Vega Tools LLC while engaging in deceptive practices to export U.S. industrial equipment to Iran illegally. Born in 1953, he was arrested in November 2022, pleaded guilty to violating U.S. sanctions in July 2024, and was sentenced to five years in prison in February 2025.
