Matthew Michael Dennis, 28, was arrested by the St. Johns County SWAT team for the first-degree murder of Clifford Tennant, 27, of Palatka, Florida. The victim was found fatally shot on a wooded trail following a 911 call reporting gunfire on February 24, 2026.
