Ako Kamo crowns Miss Universe Japan 2020 Aisha Harumi Tochigi in Shibuya, Tokyo
Ako Kamo, born in Hyogo, Japan, studied media production and performing arts in the Philippines. She became Miss Universe Japan 2023, winning in 2019 and later crowned her successor Aisha Harumi Tochigi. Kamo represented Japan at Miss Universe 2019 but was unplaced. She is multilingual and stands 5'6" tall.
