John Albert Germain, 54, was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the 1997 murder of Virginia Cecelia Farrell, 79, in Clay Township, Michigan. Despite DNA evidence linking him to the crime scene, he maintains his innocence. Germain was arrested in 2022 and convicted of open murder, first-degree criminal sexual conduct, and breaking and entering.
