Kim Clijsters and Elke Clijsters, born in Belgium, pursued professional tennis careers, with Kim debuting in 1997 and Elke in 2000. Kim achieved notable success, winning three US Open titles (2005, 2009, 2010) and married Brian Lynch in 2007. Elke retired in 2004 due to injury, after playing together briefly.
