Kai-Ji Adam Lo, a Taiwanese-Canadian born in 1994, grew up in Taiwan before moving to Vancouver. Following family tragedies, including his brother Alexander's homicide in 2024, Lo faced mental health struggles. In 2025, he drove into a crowd at a festival, killing 11 people and injuring many, leading to multiple murder charges.
