Malou Posborg Peters won the Miss Danmark 2022 title but withdrew from the Miss Universe 2022 competition. She hails from Næstved, Denmark, studied commerce, and worked in retail and education during the pandemic. Peters has traveled extensively and enjoys knitting and experiencing new cultures. She crowned her successor in August 2023.
