Wendy Boniface was 20 years old when she won Miss Seychelles Islands 2006 at the Plantation Club Resort and Casino in Mahe, Seychelles on June 30, 2006. She competed against 14 other candidates.

On October 15, 2006, Boniface represented Seychelles at Miss Intercontinental 2006 and competed against 43 other candidates at the Rainforest Theater Wyndham Crystal Palace in Nassau, Bahamas. She was unplaced.

Eight months later, Boniface went back to Mahe and crowned Solanna Domingue as the next Miss Seychelles again. The latter will represent Seychelles at Miss Intercontinental 2007.
