Ella Ran, 21, of Herzlia, Israel competed against 19 other Malkat Hayofi 2011 candidates at the Haifa International Convention Center in Haifa, Israel on March 29, 2011. She won the title and in second place was Kim Edri, 19, of Sderot, Israel, who was crowned Na’arat Israel 2011.
On March 7, 2012, Ran went back to the Haifa International Convention Center where she crowned her successor Shani Hazan of Kiryat Ata, Israel. The latter will represent Israel at Miss World 2012.
Edri’s successor is Lina Machola of Haifa. The latter will represent Israel at Miss Universe 2012.

On November 6, 2011, Ran represented Israel at Miss World 2011 and competed against 112 other candidates at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London, England, United Kingdom. She was unplaced.
