Born in San Juan de Pasto, Nariño, Colombia, Zarama turned 23 on January 12, 2014. While pursuing a career in modeling, he is studying law at the Universidad Mariana in San Juan de Pasto.
On November 16, 2024, Zarama represented Colombia at Mr. Real Universe 2014 and competed against 11 other candidates in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He won the title.

On November 6, 2011, Cornejo represented Ecuador at Miss International 2011, competed against 66 other candidates at the International Tennis Center in Chengdu, China and won the title. On December 3, 2011, Alava represented Ecuador at Miss Earth 2011, competed against 83 other candidates at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines and won the title.
On November 9, 2013, Baez represented Ecuador at Miss Universe 2013 and competed against 85 other candidates at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow, Russia. She was second runner-up to Gabriela Isler of Venezuela.
