Nicklas Pedersen represented Denmark at Mister World 2014 and competed against 45 other candidates at The Riviera International Conference Centre in Torbay, Devon, England, United Kingdom on June 15, 2014. He won the title.

Runner-up to Pedersen was Emmanuel Ikubese of Nigeria. The second runner-up was Jose Pablo Minor of Mexico.

Mister World 2016 contestants

On July 19, 2016, Pedersen will crown his successor at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre in Southport, England. It is the ninth edition of the international male beauty pageant based in London, England.

Founded by Eric Morley, Mister World is based in London. Tom Nuyens of Belgium won the inaugural edition on September 20, 1996 and he crowned his successor Sandro Finoglio of Venezuela on September 18, 1998.

On October 13, 2000, Finoglio crowned his successor Ignacio Kliche of Uruguay and August 9, 2003, the latter passed the crown to Gustavo Gianetti of Brazil. The title was won by Juan Garcia Postigo of Spain on March 31, 2007, Kamal Ibrahim of Ireland on March 27, 2010 and Francisco Escobar of Colombia on November 24, 2012.
