Oranjestad is the capital and largest city of Aruba, which is located in the mid-south of the Caribbean Sea. In 1986, Aruba became a constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Fredis Jose Refunjol, 65, is the incumbent and third governor of Aruba. He assumed office on August 11, 2004.
