In 2015, Dr. Amal Rezk formed Miss Eco Queen in collaboration with Let’s Take Care of the Planet (LTCP), a United Nations’ project launched in Brazil in response to the United Nations’ Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. It was won by Patricia Peklar of Slovenia.
In 2016, the beauty pageant was renamed Miss Eco Universe and it was won by Natalia Carvajal of Costa Rica. In 2017, it was renamed Miss Eco International.
Miss Eco International 2017
Carvajal will crown her successor at the Maritim Jolie Ville International Congress Center in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt on April 14, 2017. It is the third edition of the competition.
