Eminem, Phresher song ‘Chloraseptic’ in ‘Revival’ album

Among the seven solo collaborators in “Revival,” the new album of Marshall Bruce “Eminem” Mathers III, 45,  only two are male artists namely Ed Sheeran, 26, and Phresher, 28.

The title of the collaboration song of Eminem and Phresher is “Chloraseptic.” It is a brand of oral analgesic used for the relief of minor sore throat and mouth pain.

As an anesthetic, chloraseptic helps block the pain impulses of those who are suffering from sore throat. What this have to do with Eminem and Phresher’s collaboration song has yet to be seen as the lyrics is not yet available.

While Eminem is from Detroit, Michigan, Phresher is from Brooklyn, New York City. In 2016, the latter released a single titled “Wait a Minute” featuring Remy Ma.

The “Wait a Minute” verse by Ma was said to be aimed at her nemesis, Nicki Minaj. In 2010, the latter recorded a collaboration song with Eminem titled “Roman’s Revenge.”

After the release of “Wait a Minute,” Phresher told Vibe that he was just excited for people to hear more from him. He added what he was most excited about was just being able to give his fans more music and “let them hear a bigger body of work.”

Having recorded a collaboration song with Eminem is not the ultimate goal for Phresher, however. He told the publication that his ultimate dream collaboration is a record with Shawn Corey “Jay-Z” Carter, 48, who is also from Brooklyn.

Jay-Z’s wife Beyonce Knowles, 36, is also one of the featured artists in “Revival.” She sang the chorus part of Eminem’s song “Walk on Water.”

The song Eminem and Sheeran recorded is titled “River” and the other collaboration songs in “Revival” are “Like Home” featuring Alicia Keys, “Tragic Endings” featuring Skylar Grey, “Nowhere Fast” featuring Kehlani and “Need Me” featuring Pink. There is also a collaboration song with the rock band X Ambassadors titled “Bad Husband.”
