The Boston Calling Music Festival 2018 lineup has been announced. The headliners the music festival are Marshall Bruce “Eminem” Mathers III, The Killers and John Anthony “Jack” White.
The Killers is a rock band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States in 2001. Its current members are lead vocalist, keyboardist and bassist Brandon Flowers, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Dave Keuning, bassist, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Mark Stoermer and drummer and percussionist Ronnie Vannucci, Jr.
White is the lead singer and guitarist of The White Stripes. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA where Eminem spent much of his youth.
Including Eminem, The Killers and Jack White, more than 54 artists will perform at the 2018 Boston Calling on three stages and one indoor arena at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, Boston, Massachusetts, USA from May 25-27, 2018. Among the performers are singer-songwriter Khalid Donnel Robinson, who is mononymously known as Khalid, rappers Bryson Tiller and Tyler Gregory “Tyler, the Creator” Okonma and rock bands Portugal. The Man and Paramore.
This is the second consecutive year the Boston Calling is taking place at the Harvard Athletic Complex. It is the ninth iteration of Boston-based music festival, which takes place twice a year since it started in May 2013.
Eminem has yet to play a show in New England since 2005. He is also set to co-headline Coachella 2018 in April 2018 and Governors Ball 2018 in June 2018.
On December 15, 2017, Eminem released his ninth studio album titled “Revival.” It includes collaboration songs with Beyoncé Knowles, Phresher, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Holly Brook “Skylar Grey” Hafermann, Kehlani Ashley Parrish, mononymously known as Kehlani, Alecia Beth “Pink” Moore and rock band X Ambassadors.
