Miss Russia 2017 Polina Popova, 22, of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia will crown her successor in Barvikha Luxury Village, Moscow, Russia on April 14, 2018. It is the 26th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Russia’s Miss Universe and Miss World candidates.
Currently, Russia has eight Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Oxana Fedorova in 2002; however, she was later dethroned. The country has two Miss World crowns, which were won by Julia Kourotchkina in 1992 and Ksenia Sukhinova in 2008.

Popova was crowned Miss Russia 2017 in Barvikha Luxury Village on April 15, 2017 with Kseniya Alexandrova as her runner-up. Representing Russia, Popova finished in the Top 10 at Miss World 2017 while Alexandrova was unplaced at Miss Universe 2017.
