Around 4,000 fight fans flocked at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore on April 20, 2018 to witness the historic event of Ringstar Boxing titled “Roar of Singapore IV- The Night of Champions.” They were witnesses to three title bouts, which included the World Boxing Council (WBC) Asia Continental Light Heavyweight Championship.

New Zealand’s Chase “Hellboy” Haley and Malaysia’s Muhammad Meeraj, who is professionally known as Miracle Mirage Khan competed for the WBC Asia Continental Light Heavyweight title. Supervised by Montree Verapravati, the bout ended in the hands of the judges who gave it a unanimous decision in favor of the Malaysian contender.

After defeating Haley, Khan improved his record to 7 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. His bout against Haley at “Roar of Singapore IV: The Night of Champions” was the third time they competed against each other.

Khan and Haley fought for the first time on May 27, 2017 at “Roar of Singapore II- The Pride of Singapore” at the Resorts World Sentosa in Sentosa, Singapore. They competed for the then vacant International Boxing Organization (IBO) Oceania Light Heavyweight title and the Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) Inter Continental Light Heavyweight title.

Haley defeated Khan via majority decision at “Roar Singapore II- The Pride of Singapore.” They had their rematch at “Roar of Singapore- The Chosen Wan” for the International Boxing Organization (IBO) Oceania Light Heavyweight title and the bout ended in a draw.

After losing to Khan at “Roar of Singapore IV- The Night of Champions,” Haley now has 5 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw. Before this event, he faced Mark Kassab at “Kings of Kombat 20” on December 1, 2017.

The bout between Haley and Kassab at “Kings of Kombat 20”  took place at the Springvale City Hall in Springvale, Victoria, Australia. It ended in a unanimous decision in favor of Kassab.

Before facing Haley in three consecutive fights, Khan enjoyed a three-fight winning streak. The Malaysian boxer defeated Ibrahim Yusuf at the Stadium Titwangsa in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as well as Elly Pangaribuan and Jake Gathercole  at the Foochow Building in Singapore.
