Eldar Eldarov, 27, of Russia recently revealed his ambition to capture the lightweight championship at Brave Combat Federation. He is set to compete at “Brave 12: KHK Legacy” on May 11, 2018 at Jakarta, Indonesia.
Eldarov will face Brian Hooi, 23, of the Netherlands in the main event of “Brave 12: KHK Legacy.” Previously, the Russian contender fought in the sixth edition of Brave CF, which was hosted in Almaty, Kazakhstan where he had a TKO victory over Henrique “Rasputin” Gomes, 33, of Brazil in the first round.
Out of 10 bouts, Eldarof has 9 victories with his only defeat against compatriot Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagamedov, 30. Now the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion, Nurmagomedov calls Eldarov his hero and childhood friend.
After almost a year, Eldarov is returning to action. He had an illustrious year as a coach of Bahrain national team and mentored fighters who competed in amateur MMA, combat sambo and wrestling. His role was credited for the Kingdom of Bahrain securing second place in overall medals list.
“This will be my third fight in Brave Combat Federation and I hope this will be my third win in Brave Combat Federation,” Eldarov said. “I hope soon I get a chance to fight for the title.”
