Fighting out of Dublin, Ireland, Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo, 27, is one step closer to becoming the Brave Combat Federation Bantamweight Champion. For him to win the title, he has to dethrone the reigning champion, Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, of Baguio City, Philippines.

On September 23, 2016, Mlambo and Loman competed in the bantamweight division at “Brave 1: The Beginning” at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain. The bout was left in the hands of the judges who gave the Filipino contender a unanimous decision victory.

After losing to Loman, Mlambo defeated three opponents in the Brave CF cage. This earned him a title shot and a chance to fight Loman again.

On June 9, 2018, Mlambo will have his chance to redeem himself. In a rematch, he and Loman will headline “Brave 13: Europe Evolution” on June 9, 2018 at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In the co-main event, Norman “Stormin” Parke, 31, of Norther Ireland will fight Myles “Magic” Price, 29, of Ireland. Andy “Taz” Young of Northern Ireland will face Bryan “The Big Bad Wolf” Creighton, 32, of England while Decky “The Diamond” Dalton of Northern Ireland will compete against Zach “The Hurricane” Zane of the United States.

“Brave 13: Europe Evolution” will be the first Brave CF event to take place in Europe and Loman will be the first champion of the Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion to defend his title in the continent. Also expected on the fight card are Chad “Superman” Hanekom, 26, of South Africa and other fighters from Ireland including Konrad Iwanowski and Jonathan Reid.

Loman is undefeated in Brave CF. On November 17, 2017, the Filipino fighter knocked out Gurdarshan “Saint Lion” Mangat 30, of Canada at “Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions” at the Khalifa Sports City Arena.

On the other hand, Mlambo has 3 wins and 1 loss in Brave CF. On March 31, 2017, the Irish fighter defeated Jalal Al Daaja, 30, of Jordan at “Brave 4″ Unstoppable” on March 31, 2017 at the Ipic Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Mlambo had his second Brave CF win at “Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions” where he defeated Michael “Maico D” Deiga-Scheck, 32, of Germany. On March 2, 2018, Mlambo defeated Felipe Efrain, 24, of Brazil at “Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises” at the King Hussein Sports City in Amman, Jordan.
