Miss Brazil 2017 Monalysa Alcantara, 19, of Teresina, Piauí, Brazil will crown her successor at the Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on May 26, 2018. It will be the 64th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Brazil’s Miss Universe candidate.
Currently, Brazil has two Miss Universe crowns, which were won by Ieda Maria Vargas in 1963 and Martha Vasconcellos in 1968. Alcantara finished in the Top 10 at Miss Universe 2017.
