06 June 2018 – Macau, China: The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), has just announced the complete fight card of “ONE: Pinnacle of Power,” which is set for the Studio City Event Center in Macau, China on June 23, 2018. Like in the promotion’s recent events, strikes-only bouts under ONE Super Series will be mixed with the mixed martial arts matches.
Several martial artists are making their ONE Championship debut at “ONE: Pinnacle of Power.” Among them are Rui Botelho, 23, of Lisbon, Portugal and Yukinori Ogasawara, 26, of Tokyo, Japan.
Botelho and Ogasawara will battle it out in a Muay Thai contest under ONE Super Series. They will compete in the 61.2 kg division.
Representing Dinamite Team, Botelho is a Muay Thai practitioner with a professional Muay Thai record of 17 wins, 6 losses and 2 draws. He is also the former WKA European Champion.
On the other hand, Ogasawara is one of the most highly regarded Muay Thai practitioners in Japan. Representing Crosspoint Kichijoji, he boasts a professional Muay Thai record of 14 wins, 4 losses and 4 draws.
Ogasawara is known for his mastery of the striking arts. He is also the WBC Japan Muay Thai Champion.
“ONE: Pinnacle of Power” will be headlined by reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan, 30, of China and Laura Balin, 38, of Argentina. In the co-main event, reigning ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes, 29, of Brazil will have a rematch with reigning ONE Interim Flyweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, 29, of the Philippines.
