Reigning Brave Combat Federation Bantamweight Champion Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, of Baguio City, Philippines cleared the “Brave 13: Europe Evolution” weigh-ins on June 8, 2018. He is scheduled to defend his belt from Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo, 27, of Dublin, Ireland in a rematch at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Loman is representing Team Lakay under the tutelage of Mark Sangiao. On the other hand, Mlambo is representing Straight Blast Gym (SBG) Ireland under the tutelage of John Kavanagh.

The champion from Team Lakay will be fighting his 12th professional fight in his mixed martial arts career. He has a professional MMA record of 9 wins and 2 losses and has never lost a fight via submission or decision.

The upcoming bout between Loman and Mlambo, which is the main event of “Brave 13: Europe Evolution,” is a rematch. The two faced each other during the inaugural event of Brave Combat Federation, which took place in the promotion’s home country Bahrain.

Winning via unanimous decision over Mlambo, Loman shocked the MMA fans around the world. The Team Lakay fighter became the first Filipino fighter to score a victory over a fighter representing the SBG Ireland, which is also the gym where former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Champion Conor “The Notorious” McGregor, 29, trains.

Aside from being the youngest champion of Brave CF, Loman is also the first fighter from the Philippines to fight in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion. On the other hand, Mlambo is the first International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) gold medalist to compete in Brave CF.

The “Brave 13: Europe Evolution” fight night will begin at 05:30 p.m. on June 9, 2018. Making the fight night even more special is the presence of several celebrities including world boxing champion Amir Khan and some fighters from SBG Ireland.
