“The Southern Eagle” Ma Hao Bin, 24, of China has always possessed the drive and talent to achieve all of his lofty goals as he has capitalized on every opportunity that has come his way in his professional mixed martial arts career. Recently, the Chinese ONE Championship athlete shared his views on success and hardships.

“Nothing is easy,” Ma stated. “A person has to go through hardship to become successful. I know it will be hard, but I am willing to dig deep and get that victory.”

“In order to be a winner, you have to endure,” the Chinese mixed martial artist added. “I am here to endure all the hardships because I want to be the best in the division.”

A Chinese national freestyle wrestling champion, Ma is unbeaten on the ONE Championship stage, acing his six assignments in the promotion with flying colors. On January 23, 2016, he made his professional MMA debut at “ONE: Dynasty of Champions” at the Helong Stadium in Changsha, Hunan, China where he took home the Flyweight Tournament Championship after defeating Wu Ting Shen and Bu Huo You Ga.

Since then, Ma has strung together an impressive win-loss slate of 11-2, which includes 4 wins by submission and 2 by knockout. His most recent ONE Championship bout took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on January 26, 2018 at “ONE: Global Superheroes” where he won via unanimous decision against Sotir Kichukov, 28, of Bulgaria.

On June 23, 2018, Ma will square off with former ONE Flyweight World Championship title challenger Danny “The King” Kingad, 22, of the Philippines. They will compete on the undercard of “ONE: Pinnacle of Power” at the Studio City Event Center in Macau, China.

Ma has a tall order is in front of him. Still, he remains optimistic that he will have his hand raised in triumph as he is driven by his desire to become the best competitor in the organization’s 61.2-kilogram weight class.
