4 September 2018 – Bangkok, Thailand: The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), has just announced the complete card for “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes,” which is set to ignite the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on October 6, 2018. It will feature eight ONE Super Series striking contests, which include one boxing bout, and six mixed martial arts matches.
One of the bouts on the ONE Super Series card is between Andy “The Destroyer” Souwer, 35, of Amsterdam, Netherlands and Anthony “The Assassin” Njokuani, 38, of Nigeria and the United States. They will compete in a kickboxing bout in the lightweight division.
Souwer is a Dutch kickboxer from Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He is the former K1 World Max Champion and is a well-respected kickboxer in the world of striking martial arts.
With a professional kickboxing record of 160 wins, 20 losses and 1 draw, Souwer is known as an accomplished veteran of the sport. On the other hand, Njokuani has 25 wins and 1 loss.
Njokuani is a Nigerian kickboxer and Muay Thai practitioner who hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Representing One Kick’s Gym, he is a former State Muay Thai Champion and one of the most well-regarded veterans in the sport of kickboxing.
Both Souwer and Njokuani are making their respective ONE Super Series debuts at “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes.” Their kickboxing bout will be 10th match of the evening.
In the main event of “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” reigning World Boxing Council Super Flyweight World Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, 31, of Thailand will defend his title against Iran “MagnifiKO” Diaz, 28, of Mexico. In the co-main event, Stamp Fairtex, 20, of Thailand will challenge reigning ONE Kickboxing Atomweight World Champion “Killer Bee” Kai Ting Chuang, 23, of Chinese Taipei.
