The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), will hold “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on October 6, 2018. The card features eight ONE Super Series striking contests, which include one boxing bout, and six mixed martial arts matches.
One of the ONE Super Series bouts is between Singtongnoi Por Telakun, 38, of Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand and Masahide “Crazy Rabbit” Kudo, 27, of Japan. They will compete in a kickboxing bout in the flyweight division, which will be the fifth bout of the evening.
Singtongnoi is a celebrated Muay Thai legend with 220 wins and 80 losses. He has 300 professional bouts under his belt and he has beaten some of Thailand’s biggest Muay Thai superstars.
On May 18, 2018, Singtongnoi made a successful ONE Super Series debut at “ONE: Unstoppable Dreams” in Singapore. He knocked out World Boxing Council Muay Thai Super Bantamweight World Champion Joseph “The Hurricane” Lasiri, 26, of Italy in the second round in a Muay Thai contest in the flyweight division.
On the other hand, Kudo currently holds a professional record of 17 wins, 7 losses and 3 draws. He is the former RISE Featherweight Champion.
Kudo is making his ONE Super Series debut at “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes.” He is one of the three Japanese athletes on the card.
Japanese fighters Hayato Suzuki, 32, and Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki, 35, will compete in MMA bouts. Suzuki will face Robin “The Ilonggo” Catalan, 30, of the Philippines in the strawweight division while Aoki is fighting Ev “E.T.” Ting, 29, of New Zealand and Malaysia in the lightweight division.
In the main event of the evening, reigning World Boxing Council Super Flyweight World Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, 31, of Thailand will defend his title against Iran “MagnifiKO” Diaz, 28, of Mexico. In the co-main event, Stamp Fairtex, 20, of Thailand will challenge reigning ONE Kickboxing Atomweight World Champion “Killer Bee” Kai Ting Chuang, 23, of Chinese Taipei.
