Villante and Herman competed in the light heavyweight division at “UFC Fight Night 138.” Currently reigning as the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion is Daniel “DC” Cormier, 39, of San Jose, California, United States.
After three five-minute rounds, the light heavyweight bout between Villante and Herman was left in the hands of the judges. In the end, referee Yves Lavigne raised the hand of the fighter from New York, who was declared the winner via split decision.
