On November 2, 2018, Focus Features released “Boy Erased,” a coming-of-age drama film about the son of Baptist parents who is coerced to take part in a gay conversion therapy program. It was directed by Joel Edgerton, who co-produced it with Steve Golin and Kerry Kohansky Roberts.
