Brown Pinas, 25, of the Netherlands has earned his first victory in ONE Super Series. He was one of the winners at “ONE: Warrior’s Dream,” which marked his second bout in ONE Championship’s striking-only league.

Featuring three ONE Super Series striking contests and 11 mixed martial arts matches, “ONE: Warrior’s Dream” took place on November 17, 2018 at the Stadium Istora in Jakarta, Indonesia. In the third bout of the evening, Pinas competed in a Muay Thai contest in the featherweight division against Yohann Fairtex Drai, 26, of France and Thailand.

Pinas scored a scintillating knockout victory over Drai. After a spirited first round of action which saw the two land significant strikes, the Dutch martial artist ended matters abruptly in the second round.

The Dutch kickboxer known for his sharp spinning back elbows landed one right on the button. Drai was unable to recover.

By beating Drai, Pinas improved his professional Muay Thai and kickboxing record to 26 wins, 9 losses and 1 draw. On the other hand, the French martial artist now has 42 wins and 8 losses.

On July 27, 2018, Pinas made his ONE Super Series debut at “ONE: Reign of Kings,” which took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. He competed in a catch weight of 70.6kg in a Muay Thai contest against Chamuaktong Fightermuaythai, 29, of Thailand.

Despite having the height and reach advantage, Pinas failed to conquer Chamuaktong. The Thai contender won via unanimous decision.

Including Pinas, three fighters represented the Netherlands at “ONE: Warrior’s Dream.” The other two were Nieky “The Natural” Holzken, 34, and Anthony “The Archangel” Engelen, 33.

Holzken faced Cosmo “Good Boy” Alexandre, 36, of Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil in a kickboxing contest in a catch weight of 78 kg under ONE Super Series. The Dutch kickboxer knocked out his Brazilian opponent in the second round.

Representing the Netherlands and Indonesia, Engelen competed in an MMA match the strawweight division against Jimmy “The Silencer” Yabo, 37, of Cebu City, Philippines.  The Indonesian-Dutch fighter submitted his Filipino opponent via rear-naked choke in the first round.
