Maëva Coucke represented Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France at Miss France 2018 and competed against 29 other candidates at the M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire, France on December 16, 2017. She won the title.
Runner-up to Coucke was Eva Colas of Corsica. The respective second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth runners-up were Lison DiMartino of Ile-de-France, Safiatou Guinot of Champagne-Ardenne, Audrey Chane Pao Kan of Reunion, Cassandra Jullia of Aquitaine and Ruth Briquet of French Guiana.
Miss France 2019 contestants
On December 15, 2018, Coucke will crown her successor at the Zénith de Lille in Lille, Hauts-de-France, France. It is the 89th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe and Miss World candidates of the country.
Miss France 2011 Laury Thilleman will serve as one of the Miss France 2019 judges along with Alice Renavand, Caroline Garcia, Claudia Tagbo, Jenifer Yaël Juliette Dadouche-Bartoli, Line Renaud and Maud Baecker. This is the first time Miss France has an all-female jury.
