For the second time, Francis “The Predator” Ngannou, 32, of Las Vegas, Nevada, United States defeated Curtis “Razor” Blaydes, 27, of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The two had their rematch at “UFC Fight Night 141,” which marked the first event of the Ultimate Fighting Championship in Beijing, China.

The American mixed martial arts promotion held “UFC Fight Night 141” at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing on November 24, 2018. In the main event of the evening, Ngannou and Blaydes battled it out in the heavyweight division.

Referee Marc Goddard put a stop to the heavyweight bout between Ngannou and Blaydes after 45 seconds in the first round. The former, who is of Cameroonian descent, knocked out his American opponent via punches.

It was a redemptive win for the MMA Factory athlete, who was coming out of two consecutive unanimous decision losses in the UFC. On January 20, 2018, he failed to dethrone reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic, 36, of Independence, Ohio, United States at “UFC 220” at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

On July 7, 2018, Ngannou and Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis, 33, of Houston, Texas, United States co-headlined “UFC 226” at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The latter earned the judges’ nod.

The victory at “UFC Fight Night 141” improved Ngannou’s professional MMA record to 12 wins and 3 losses. Aside from Blaydes, the Cameroonian-French fighter defeated five other opponents in the UFC namely Luis “KLB” Henrique, 25, of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bojan Mihajlovic, 38, of Novi Sad, Serbia, Anthony “Freight Train” Hamilton, 38, of Seattle, Washington, United States, Andre “The Pit Bull” Arlovski, 39, of Minsk, Belarus and Alistair “The Demolition Man” Overeem, 38, of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
