Team Alpha Male’s Song Yadong earns 3rd UFC win, beats Vince Morales in Beijing, China

Representing Team Alpha Male and Endo Gedou, “Kung Fu Monkey” Song Yadong, 20, of Tianjin, China has earned his third win in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was one of the winners at “UFC Fight Night 141,” which marked the first event of the American mixed martial arts promotion in Beijing, China.

At “UFC Fight Night 141,” Song faced Vince “Vandetta” Morales, 28, of Caldwell, Idaho, United States. They competed in the bantamweight division.

After three five-minute rounds, the bantamweight bout between Song and Morales was left in the hands of the judges. In the end, referee Marc Goddard raised the hand of the Team Alpha Male athlete, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

Losing to Song downgraded Morales’s professional MMA record to 8 wins and 3 losses. It was his second loss in the UFC.

On the other hand, the recent victory improved Song’s professional MMA record to 13 wins and 3 losses. The first two opponents he defeated in the UFC were Bharat “Daring” Khandare, 29, of Bhagur, Maharashtra, India and Felipe “Sertanejo” Arantes, 30, of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The UFC held “UFC Fight Night 141” at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing on November 24, 2018. In the co-main event of the evening, Alistair “The Demolition Man” Overeem, 38, of Amsterdam, Netherlands knocked out Sergey Pavlovich, 20, of Rostov-on-don, Rostov, Russia via punches after 4 minutes and 21 seconds in the first round.

The main event featured the rematch between Francis “The Predator” Ngannou, 32, of Las Vegas, Nevada, United States and Curtis “Razor” Blaydes, 27, of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Their first encounter on April 10, 2016 at “UFC Fight Night 86” in Zagreb, Croatia ended in a second-round technical knockout victory of the former, who is of Cameroonian and French descent.

At “UFC Fight Night 141,” Ngannou defeated Blaydes for the second time. The Cameroonian-French fighter knocked out his American opponent via punches after 45 seconds in the first round.
