Brave Combat Federation will hold “Brave 22” in the Philippines. The Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion took to social media to make the announcement on January 1, 2019.

“Brave 22” will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 15, 2019. It will be the first ever Brave CF event to take place in the Philippines, which is home to reigning Brave CF Bantamweight Champion Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, of Baguio City, Philippines.

Brave CF has yet to reveal the complete fight card. Training out of Team Lakay in Baguio City, Loman is expected to compete in the main event while his teammate Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 22, of Kapangan, Benguet, Philippines is expected to be fighting in the co-main event.

Loman successfully defended his title twice in 2018. On June 9, 2018, he had his rematch with Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo, 27, who is representing Straight Blast Gym (SBG) Ireland of Dublin, Ireland at “Brave 13: Europe Evolution” at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

“Brave 13: Europe Evolution” was the first Brave CF event in Europe. In the main event, Loman won via unanimous decision.

On November 16, 2018, Felipe Efrain, 24, of Sao Paolo, Brazil challenged Loman in one of the main card events at “Brave 18: Bahrain” at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, Isa Town, Bahrain. After five five-minute rounds, the bantamweight championship bout was left in the hands of the judges.

In the end, the referee raised the hand of the Filipino defending champion, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision. It was reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov, 30, of Dagestan, Russia who crowned the Team Lakay warrior.

On the other hand, Pacatiw won two of his three Brave CF bouts in 2018. On August 18, 2018, he defeated Keith “Killa” Lee, 21, of Las Vegas, Nevada, United States via split decision at “Brave 14” at the Omnisports Indoor Club in Tangier, Morocco.

On October 27, 2018, Pacatiw co-headlined “Brave 17” with Uloomi “Kratos” Karim, 27, of Islamabad, Pakistan at the Nistar Sports Complex in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The Team Lakay fighter won via unanimous decision.
