Written by Jon Bokenkamp and directed by Bill Roe, “The Blacklist” Season 6 episode “Dr. Hans Koehler” will air on January 3, 2019 on NBC. The episode title is the name of the season’s first Blacklister played by Kenneth Tigar.
Dr. Hans Koehler is a surgeon infamous for drastically altering the appearances of criminal elites, including a dangerous killer for hire. He also creates new identities for these criminals.
Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) will give the Task Force a Blacklister case in “The Blacklist” Season 6 premiere. But viewers will find out whether or not Spader’s character availed himself of the doctor’s services.
Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone) already knows that Red is not her father and he is an imposter. She knows that the real Raymond Reddington already died but she will pretend not to know anything about Red’s deception.
On the other hand, Red does not know that Liz has discovered his secrets. Liz and her supposed sister Lillian Roth/Jennifer Reddington (Fiona Dourif) will secretly investigate the death of the real Raymond Reddington.
“Dr. Hans Koehler” marks Tigar’s debut in “The Blacklist.” Before appearing in the NBC series created by Bokenkamp, the actor played characters in several series.
Tigar was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, United States on September 24, 1942. He has been acting professionally since 1970.
