Terry Bradshaw is the third celebrity to be unmasked among the 12 mystery contestants of “The Masked Singer” Season 1. It was revealed that he was the singer behind the mask of The Deer in episode 3 titled “Five Masks No More,” which aired on Fox on January 16, 2019.
As The Deer, Bradshaw was one of the five mystery celebrity contestants who performed in “Five Masks No More.” In the episode, resident judges Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy were joined by Joel McHale as a guest panelist.
Bradshaw performed “Get Your Shine On.” The song was released in as the second single from Florida Georgia Line’s album “Here’s to the Good Times” in January 2013.
“I love all your albums, Brett Favre,” McHale jokingly told the Deer while the mystery singer was beside host Nick Cannon waiting for the judges comments. Jeong laughed at the comment of his fellow “Community” alum.
In “Five Masks No More,” Thicke told McHale that Favre “might be the best guess yet.” Thicke reminded the audience that the clues to the identity of the Deer include his wrestling background, his claim of being knocked out and his warning ravens.
“Why don’t we just ask him who he is?” McHale continued with another joke. “That would be so much faster.”
But Thicke thought The Deer could be Brett Roethlisberger. For Scherzinger, the mystery contestant could be Bradshaw.
According to The Deer, he had multiple world titles in track and field. However, he moved on to “horses.”
It turned out that Scherzinger was right. In the end of episode, The Deer received the lowest votes and had to unmask himself.
