Training out of Evolve MMA in Singapore, Christian “The Warrior” Lee, 20, has earned his 11th victory in ONE Championship. He was one of the winners at “ONE: Eternal Glory,” which took place at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 19, 2019.

“ONE: Eternal Glory” featured 10 mixed martial arts matches and two Muay Thai contests. In the 10th bout of the evening, Lee faced Edward “The Ferocious” Kelly, 34, of Baguio City, Philippines in the featherweight division.

Referee Kemp Cheng put a stop to the contest after 2 minutes and 53 seconds in the first round when Lee knocked out Kelly via strikes. This improved the Singaporean fighter’s professional MMA record to 11 wins and 3 losses and downgraded the Filipino contender’s record to 11 wins and 6 losses.

It was a rematch between Kelly and Lee. During their first encounter at “ONE: Beyond the Horizon” on September 8, 2018 in Shanghai, China, the Evolve MMA fighter was disqualified due to illegal suplex so the victory was automatically awarded to his Filipino opponent, who is training out of Team Lakay in Baguio City.

Lee has been competing professionally since 2015 when he joined ONE Championship. The other 10 opponents he defeated in the Singapore-based promotion were David Meak of Australia, Mahmoud Deab Mohamed of Egypt, Anthony “The Archangel” Engelen, 33, of the Netherlands, Carry “The Prince” Bullos, 35, of the Philippines, the late Rocky “The Outlaw” Batolbatol of the Philippines,  Jianping “Werewolf” Wan, 34, of China, Keanu Subba, 24, of Malaysia, Koketsu “No Face” Boku, 41 of Japan and Kazunori Yokota, 40, of Japan.

Aside from Kelly, the only fighter who defeated Lee in ONE Championship was reigning ONE Featherweight World Champion Martin “The Situ-Asian” Nguyen, 29, of Australia and Vietnam. On August 13, 2016, the Vietnamese-Australian fighter submitted the Singaporean fighter via guillotine choke at “ONE: Heroes of the World” in Macau, China.

On May 18, 2018, Lee and Nguyen had their rematch at “ONE: Unstoppable Dreams” in Singapore. The reigning ONE Featherweight World Champion won via split decision.
