Kongsak P.K.Saenchaimuaythaigym to face Alaverdi Ramazanov at ‘ONE: Clash of Legends’ in Bangkok, Thailand

Kongsak P.K.Saenchaimuaythaigym, 28, of Thailand will co-headline “ONE: Clash of Legends” with Alaverdi “Dagger” Ramazanov, 24, of Russia. It marks the debut of the Thai martial artist in ONE Championship’s striking-only league ONE Super Series.

“ONE: Clash of Legends” is the first ONE Championship event to take place in Thailand in 2019. Kongsak will be one of the six fighters representing the country.

Featuring four Muay Thai bouts and eight mixed martial arts matches, “ONE: Clash of Legends” will take place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on February 16, 2019. In the co-main event of the evening, Kongsak and Ramazanov will battle it out in a Muay Thai bout in the bantamweight division.

On January 28, 2019, ONE Championship held the “ONE: Clash of Legends” open workout at the P.K. Saenchai Muay Thai Gym in Bangkok, Thailand. In attendance were Kongsak and his fellow Thai ONE Championship athletes namely Rika “Tinydoll” Ishige, 29, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, 32, Chamuaktong Fightermuaythai, 30, Superlek Kiatmoo9, 23, and Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai, 30.

“This is the first time I will be competing for ONE Championship,” Kongsak stated during the “ONE: Clash of Legends” open workout. “It’s a new challenge for me to get onto the world stage, and to compete among so many good opponents.”

“It’s a good challenge and I welcome all challenges,” Kongsak continued. “I have to prepare and show my style and class as well. I want to start building my confidence in my next fight and for the future.”

In the main event, Nong-o will face Han Zi Hao, 23, of China for the inaugural ONE Super Series Muay Thai Bantamweight World Championship.

Including Thailand, 13 countries will be represented at “ONE: Hero’s Ascent.” The other countries are Cambodia, China, France, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Representing Thailand, “Smokin” Jo Nattawut, 29, is also on the “ONE: Clash of Legends” card. He will face Samy “AK47” Sana, 30, of France in a Muay Thai bout in the featherweight division.
