‘The Masked Singer’ Season 1 episode 5 spoilers: The Alien is a whiz at interplanetary travel

The Alien is one of the four mystery celebrity contestants who will perform on “The Masked Singer” Season 1 episode 5 titled “Mix and Masks.” He will compete against the Unicorn, the Rabbit and the Lion.

“She’s a whiz at interplanetary travel,” a caption of The Alien’s photo reads. Many fans believe that she could be either Bella Hadid or Latoya Jackson but they have a hard time trying to strongly connect the two to being an alien or a whiz.

Joel McHale will no longer appear as a guest panelist on “Mix and Masks.” He joined resident panelists Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy on the third and fourth episodes “Five Masks No More” and “Another Mask Bites the Dust,” which aired on Fox on January 16, 2019 and January 23, 2019, respectively.

After performing “Get Your Shine On” of Florida Georgia Line, Terry Bradshaw was unmasked as The Deer on “Five Masks No More.” Margaret Cho was unmasked as the Poodle on “Another Mask Bites the Dust” after singing  “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper.

The Alien performed “Lovefool” of The Cardigans on “Another Mask Bites the Dust.” The Rabbit sang “Wake Me Up” by Avicii on the same episode.

Viewers learned on episode 2 “New Masks on the Block,” which aired on January 9, 2019 on Fox that the Alien grew up in the public eye and is used to being controlled. She said, “In my family, anonymity is a completely alien concept.”

Prior to the airing of “Mix and Masks,” new clues to the respective identities of the Rabbit, the Unicorn, the Alien and the Lion were given. In a close-up shot, the Alien looks like she is doing sit-ups.

“Mix and Masks” will air on January 29, 2019 on Fox. Here is a teaser of the episode:
