‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ winner Bianca del Rio coming to Manila, Philippines for ‘It’s Jester Joke’

Bianca del Rio

LA Comedy Live and official residence Fairmont Makati are excited to announce that the Joan Rivers of the drag world, Bianca Del Rio, will be making her debut in Manila, Philippines with her brand new show titled “It’s Jester Joke.” It will take place at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura Premier in Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 12-13, 2019.

The self-proclaimed clown in a gown tells tales of her world travels and the outrageous circus that is her life. It is sure to keep audiences in stitches with her comical tell-it-like-it-is views, covering life from politics and travel to family and social media.

It is not all fun and games though. There is an important life lesson to be learned through this fearless comedy show, which is, “Sometimes, we all just need to lighten up!”

The alter ego of seasoned comic Roy Haylock, Del Rio has well and truly taken the world by storm. She quickly became a front-runner on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 6 and was crowned the winner in May 2014. Being a fan favorite throughout and after the season, she is considered by many to be the best winner of the reality competition TV series for drag superstars.

Del Rio is the only “RuPaul’s Drag Race” contestant who never placed in the bottom three in any challenge during her run on the show and is statistically the best-performing queen overall. She is also the first Hispanic winner of contest with Violet Chachki, being the second.

As Del Rio’s Instagram following soared to over 1 million followers, her shows “The Rolodex of Hate,” “Not Today Satan” and “Blame It On Bianca Del Rio” sold out to audiences all over the world. In 2013, she starred in the film “Hurricane Bianca” and a sequel “Hurricane Bianca: From Russia With Hate” was released in 2018.

Del Rio’s last tour “Blame it on Bianca” was a massive hit with sold-out shows across the world. Get ready for a night of laughs as she makes her anticipated debut in Manila!
