Training out of Bali MMA, Bozhena “Toto” Antoniyar, 23, of Myanmar was one of the winners at “ONE: Reign of Valor.” It was her second victory in ONE Championship.
“ONE: Reign of Valor” featured nine MMA matches and five ONE Super Series contests, which are kickboxing bouts. In the third bout of the evening, Antoniyar faced Audreylaura “Ice Comet” Boniface, 29, of Malaysia in an MMA match in the atomweight division with Kemp Cheng as the referee.
The two female atomweight competitors figured in a thrilling two-round encounter. The hometown hero put together an electric performance to the delight of the packed Thuwunna Indoor Stadium crowd, lighting up her Malaysian opponent with a plethora of dynamic striking combinations.
In the second round, Boniface succumbed to the constant pressure. Cheng put a stop to the contest after 1 minute and 31 seconds in the second round and raised the hand of Antoniyar, who was declared the winner via technical knockout.
Winning at “ONE: Reign of Valor” improved Antoniyar’s professional MMA record to 2 wins and 1 loss. On the other hand, Boniface now has 1 win and 4 losses.
Growing up in Loikaw, Myanmar, Antoniyar was 16 years old when she started her training in boxing. On February 23, 2018, she made her professional MMA debut at “ONE: Quest for Gold” at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium where she knocked out her fellow Burmese fighter Shwe Sin.
But on November 6, 2018, Antoniyar was knocked out by Rika “Tiny Doll” Ishige, 29, of Thailand at “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. “ONE: Reign of Valor” marked the third ONE Championship bout of the Loikaw native.
